Hazyview – Half day White water Rafting

Located just outside Hazyview on the Panorama Route and only 20 minutes’ drive from the Kruger National Park, is the Sabie river white water rafting experience waiting for you.

Join is for a half day White Water rafting in two man inflatables (Crocks), with rapids of Grade 2 & 3.

Qualified guides, equipment, snacks and transport from the Adventure Centre in Hazyview to the river and back provided.

Adventure Centre is located on the banks of the Sabie River. The Sabie River thunders over massive waterfalls and rapids on its way into the Lowveld and by the time it reaches the rafting starting point, it provides the ultimate rafting stretch for the whole family or for any corporate group. Each trip is assisted by qualified (APA and First Aid) and well experienced river guides.  The rapids are not the only attraction as patrons are bound to see an abundance of bird life, lush indigenous forest scenes and will get the chance to “bum slide” half way at the picnic stop.

Do I have to be able to swim?

N0, you are issued with a PFD that will help you to keep afloat.

What clothes are best to wear?

The general rule is – the less you wear the better. It is uncomfortable to swim with shoes and wet clothes also make you cold. A swim suit with a T-Shirt to protect you from sunburn is the best.

Can children join the trip?

The minimum age is 12 years, but in the low water season, April – September, the river is quite low and less adventurous. Then younger children can join the trip. They can either go with one of the adults or with a guide.

Can I take a camera with?

Yes, but as there are no guarantees on the water. We offer a photographic service and take pictures on every trip which can be bought right after the trip on a disc.
